KDX & KQX Series

The KDX / KQX series is a range of premium quality, compact size, high power amplifiers designed for live performance use as well as for permanent installations. The KDX / KQX models are based on Class D output circuit controlled by a proprietary modulator patented by KIND Audio. Thanks to the high efficiency (more than 85%) Class D output circuit, dramatically reduce power distribution demands compared to older high power amplifiers. Other great advantages of this technology are: low heat dissipation, compact size, and KIND sonic integrity. A switchmode technology power supply replace a large heavy AC transformer with a highly efficient and light weight modular design.
The KDX / KQX series have an open input architecture and can have as option a Digital Signal Processing board (KIND DSP board-1) and a remote control that allows monitoring of all key amplifier parameters: power on/off, channel mutes, and channel solo functions.

DDX & DQX Series
|
|
The DDX / DQX series is designed for the most demanding live audio users, whether in touring rigs or fixed installations. Seven models with two channel and six model with four channel offers range in power from 450 watts to 1900 watts per channel at four ohm all in 2 RU space chassis that are only 455 mm (17.91") deep and 10 kg (22 lbs). The DDX / DQX models are based on Class D output circuit controlled by a proprietary modulator patented by KIND Audio. The great advantages of this technology are: low heat dissipation, compact size, and KIND sonic integrity. Reactive "back EMF" from the speaker is recycled to the power supply, and an efficiency higher than 85% keeps AC power needs to a minimum, while delivering more energy to the speaker. The high efficient global power supply is regulated (R-SMPS), works anywhere in the world and offers PFC (Power Factor Correction). NWX Series
|
|
The NWX series are light weight amplifiers, ideal for use in high quality touring sound systems as well as in permanent installations. The NWX models are based on class H circuitry, for power efficiency and high quality sound performance. NWX models has been designed with the objective to reduce weight and improve sonic transparency, noise and versatility, further to incorporate the ultimate protection systems. An high efficiency Switch Mode Power Supply has been used as modern solution for the weight reduction. KIND SMPS has been designed to be integrated into our amplifier design. In contrast to other designs, we have managed to produce a SMPS that has the same characteristics as a conventional supply eliminating the need of limiting on the secondary side of the switch transformer, to guarantee the maximum current pulse under requiry, the audible results are a deep and fast bass and crisp, clean sound.

XT Series

The XT Series amplifiers from KIND offer true professional quality, performance and road-proven reliability. XT models are designed to work hard into 2 ohm loads. Four 3 RU models, designed with dual mono topology, provide 900 to 2400 watts per channel at 2 ohms (FTC continuous average). All four models feature a compact chassis deep 453 mm (17.8").

MCX Series

The MCX 84-6 and MCX 124-6 provide 80 watts and 120 watts per channel at 4 ohm respectively. TMK1 distributed lines Transformers Mounting Kit
|
|
The KIND TMK1 is a 2U rack mounting kit for distribution line transformers, user configurable, that can house up to six 50-90W or up to three 200/300/400W line tranformers. Mixed configuration of three 50-90W plus three 200/300/400W line transformers are obtainable. The XF- line transformers are user mounted inside of TMK1 and the available standard version has a 100V output, 70V version is available on demand. Thanks to the special winding and the natural behaviour of the toroidal core, the KIND line transformers have a wide frequency response which makes them ideal for high quality musical systems.

The DSP Board-1 input card can provide all of the functions of a loudspeaker system crossover/controller without the need for an external processor. Suitable for KDL, KDX, KQX, DDX and DQX series amplifiers, the 2-in / 3-out processor has crossover, EQ, compressor and delay functions, providing a cost effective and tamper-proof system solution for most applications.

WinARC (Amplifier Remote Control) is a software designed to remote by PC the NWX models switching Amplifiers from KIND and all the new generation of KIND Power Amplifiers. WinARC works by RS485 interface with distance up to 1 Km and control up to 99 Amplifiers linked between them with a simple RJ connector and telephone or cat. 5 data cable.
All parametres like signal In/Out, output current, working status (Bridge or Parallel Mono), and Amplifier's temperature are monitorred; allert icons announce possible anomalies. For each Amplifier through the PC interface is possible adjust the output level and set up Mute and Solo function. WinArc automatically recognize all Amplifiers connected to the Network, the Amplifiers can also be assigned in a group and more than one group can be created to control simultaneously Level, Mute, and Solo function for all amplifiers in the group by a single Windows. With WinArc is possible save a session file with place and loudspeaker system used in the event. |
